Pre wash, and I use a bug sprayer with ONR mixed in it to spray the vehicle down first. Also in the winter its not uncommon for me to take it through the touchless and go home and wash it. Just be smart.

You have to be able to know when to stop as well. Excessive dusting, pilling, dry on looking product. All these are an indicator your process needs to be tweeked.

A leather expert on the facebook forums says not to put anything on the leather that will hold onto dirt, and that would include almost all of the moisture type products. Wipe your seats down with ONR or equiv., the ultima interior guard drys perfect for leather, but who knows if it does anything.
