I think I'll just stick with clay. I like the concept better and I'm not lazy when I detail. Just time I'm getting to spend with my car so the time it takes to clay doesn't bother me. If I can do things by hand with great results then that's what I want to do.
I like that clay bar. Very pliable. I usually set it in the warmly car while I wash if its cold outside. Makes it easy to play with. I clay my car a lot more than twice a year. I might do it once a month.
One time on I95 here in nc there was an impala missing back tires I think it was driving faster than me. Not trying to slow down at all. Called highway patrol and they saif they were actually looking for him. I'm like....no one has called in yet? You can't hear that from Timbuktu?
My step dad has washed his car with dawn dish soap and called it a day. I tried to explain to him what it can do to his clear coat and why he should use wax after washing. He let me know he worked in a body shop and that what he used and his paint will be fine. I don't know if its because I'm 20...
