PBL Balm is very expensive. It looks like a jar of car wax. Isn't this harder to use than sprays? Aren't most of us using these products on plastic coated leather? Sounds like a job for 303.

I applied Optimum Gloss-Coat to my white Audi TT last year. I am very happy with the application and the result. It seems this product is not as popular as it once was. Are the coatings in the original post any better?

Sounds like a good product. That Z looks great. You're going to want to scrap those garage floor mats for something like Race Deck.

Some people think it's silly to detail & use a coating on a leased car. "Why bother" they say. I think it's worth the effort because I get three years of easy washing, and the car looks much better for the effort. Do you think it's worth it to polish a car I'll keep only a few years?

I just applied Gloss Coat to my 16 Audi TT. After all the work of polishing w Cleansing Polish & IPA wipe, I wonder if there is any benefit to applying a second coat to the hood, roof & trunk. It's been 24 hrs. How long is too long after first coat?

"Leasing?" Sure; now I will have three years of easy washing with great gloss.

I have both DP coating, and PNS. Both are easy & nice. DP is the clear long term winner for me.

Thanks so much. You're right, I was using prewax cleaner on a new Audi before Opti Gloss. I thought 3 was all that was needed. Much better at higher speeds.

I have an older 7424 non XP Porta Cable. I've been leasing, so I only use it once a year. When I polish with a 4" Hydro Tech, anything more than very light pressure causes rotation to stop. It seems I used to be able to use more pressure on it while maintaining rotation. I have not done any...

I did my Audi TT w PBL, and my wife's BMW 3 with DP coating. Both are garaged. After 5 months both looked good, but for the upcoming winter I wanted additional protection. Both cars were free of surface contaminants after a hot water shampoo, so I did not use clay. I used Eraser and gave them...

If one bottle of PBL can do more than ten cars, why not reapply instead of using any boosters? I coated my ride in November, so by spring I'll do a little cleanup and coat again.

I'm not a pro, so this is fine for my hobby.
