    Using Lake Country Pads manually

I pull them off the polisher to use by hand to get in tight spots. Don't know that I would do a whole car like that... As noted above, they do make a couple designed for being held by hand.

    WG 3.0 vs 845

What are you trying to determine? Which one looks better? Which one lasts longer?

    Review - 3D Towel Kleen

I will fill up a bucket with some water and a bit of towel kleen and toss the towels in as I use them. I don't know if it helps, but its what I do...

Compound and AIO for a budget 2 step polish?

I would consider the PB World Polish #2 and the PB World Polish with Sealant. I recently used the Wolfgang Total Swirl remover with an LC flat orange pad and finished with PB polish with sealant on an LC flat white pad and the vehicle came out great. Now the WG stuff is very good, but not...

AIO's never get any love, but...

I recently tried PB Polish with Sealant. It was good enough that I don't feel the need to experiment with anything else at the moment. No problems wiping it off. I do plan to top with Collinite 476 in the next week or so, just because I am a little weary of the durability of an AIO with my...

Whats the best microfiber out there?

I will say TRC sells a towel that looks identical to some of the ones found on Auto Geek-- they are NOT the same. The TRC version is acceptable, but the AG towel is very noticeably a better product, and IMO, worth the extra cost.

Best Way to Clean AIO Out of Pads

That was kinda where my head was at before I posted this. But I will give a few of these a try and see how they work...

Best Way to Clean AIO Out of Pads

The swirl remover cleaned right out of the LC flat pads I used this last weekend, but the PB polish with sealant is a B**CH. I have the Pinnacle pad cleaner spray, but it doesn't seem to be working very well on the AIO. I assume because of the sealant in the product? Is there a pad I should...

    G15 0r G21?

I also have the PC and use it with a 3.5" backing plate and 4" pads. This combined with the G15 I just purchased, I feel, is a great combo. I did a full paint correction on my Tundra this past weekend (the paint had faded/oxidized to a nice flat white). I used the G15 on all the large, open...

What is GM putting on lower panels?

All over the lower panels of my Tundra. I always thought they just didn't care to finish that part of the car properly...ha. Didn't realize it was done purposefully.

    Water Restrictions in CA

It is. That is the notice posted on their website. Maybe you should send the letter back with a copy of their ordinance? Very strange... can you post a copy of the letter or share the details? I don't want any letters, but I don't see how you ran afoul considering the ordinance posted on...

    Water Restrictions in CA

From the SMWD Water Conservation Ordinance: 6) Limits on Washing Vehicles: Using water to wash or clean a vehicle, including but not limited to any automobile, truck, van, bus, motorcycle, boat or trailer, whether motorized or not is prohibited, except by use of a hand-held bucket or similar...

    Water Restrictions in CA

I am also in So Cal, and I didn't see anything on any of the local water districts websites that prohibited washing cars. All I saw was that they want you to use a hose nozzle that has an auto shut-off so you are not letting the hose run continuously. Perhaps I wasn't looking in the right...

My new GG Boss 15 review - more questions than answers

Car looks great. I did my white Tundra this weekend with the G15 and also found it to be an awesome, awesome tool. I used WG Total swirl remover with a LC Flat orange pad and finished down with Poor Boy's polish with sealant using a white LC Flat pad. Both 5.5" pads. Came out quite better...

    D114 and LSP degradation...

Is D114 safe to use as a water-less wash? That is-- can it be diluted in a sprat bottle and used for things like door jams and other tight spots on paint or plastic?
