As far as longevity of this product I used it on my wifes equinox and got about 4-5 weeks before it started to fade.This was spring type weather in North Alabama and the car was out in the weather a lot.

I'm thinking about switching from a HF D.A. to the meguiars MT 300, my question is more about the pads than the D.A. I'm just wondering what are your thoughts on the pads ? For instance like how long do they last are they easy to clean and are they user friendly thanks for any help.

Yeah I don't think a all in one will help you just by using the hand polishing method I think you would be better just claying the car and using something like meguiars ultimate paste wax.
