I have had good luck with Amazing Roll Off on engines, and have used S100 at my previous shop. But would go with Roll Off given the choice.

I have the Porter Cable 7424XP, but now that I'm getting better with correction, I'm going to pick up a Griot's 6 inch. I had planned to sell the 7424, but after reading this thread, I'm going to put a 3 inch plate on it and keep it.

I have to recommend Amazing Roll Off. I did the engine on Mom's Lincoln with it. Light hosing of the engine, sprayed Amazing Roll Off, let it dwell for a minute or so, hosed off, blow dry. No agitation, no dressing. The pictures speak for themselves. Before After Love that stuff!

That's exactly what I did. Rustoleum Aircraft Stripper to the rescue!
