I just bought some satin billet aluminum pieces for my interior. Any recommendations on how to clean them? How to protect them? The best option I've come up with thus far is an aluminum wheel polish/wax but I don't know how well those would do with being touched day after day. These ARE pieces...

Good luck. Beware though, once you do a total detail on your car you are going to be ADDICTED! Having an even slightly dirty car will never be an option again.

I live in an apartment and still manage to wash my car properly. I hook a 100ft hose up to the bathroom sink and throw it out the window and out to the parking lot.

Add another vote for UWW+. I use that stuff like crazy.

I'm addicted to this stuff. I keep a spray bottle in my trunk and clean every little fingerprint or smudge lol.

In for this. That would be sweet. Oh and LOL at all the people with one post. If this is to be chosen at random I hope the admins check IP addresses to make sure people didn't create alternate accounts just to increase their odds.

My wife's car was the same way after a repair. They asked if I was happy and I said, "Are you kidding me? NO! I'm not happy! This is a joke!" They offered to redo it and I laughed, took the keys, went home and did it myself.

Do you have to use the lubricant specifically designed for clay bars? I seem to go through a whole bottle on every car. Is there a cheaper option?
