Apparently it isn't a wipe on wipe off product. I checked their website under "business oppertunity". It is hand applied, but they have a list of required equipment : Equipment Requirements - Infrared Heaters - Air Compressor - Variable Speed Polisher - Temperature Reader - Lighting looks like...

Does an EIN have to be under the same name as a business license?

Percentage wise it makes no difference. But Have your mom listed as CEo , or president/owner. Women owned businesses get great incentives from most governments.

15 detailers and 2 gallons of wax later.... B-24 Liberator "Witchcraft"

Nice job. My father was a flight engineer/top turret gunner on B-24's in the CBI (China,Burma, India) during WW2. You did the plane and the men who flew them proud.

What do you guys do in the winter?

I'm lucky enough to have a small one car garage that I work out of in the winter. I concentrate on one step vehicle maintenance and interiors. The frequency and duration of snow falls determines how bust I am. As winter approaches I stress with my clients what the various highway snow and ice...

Scared to quit my day job

During the winter I work out of my home garage, since most of my clients are within 10 miles of my house. This gives me access to hot and cold running water. The rest of the year I'm mobile.

    Washing floor mats

Get some aluminum conduit and a 2x4s. Spray the conduit with some paint to stop it from oxidizing. Cut the 2x4 to what ever length you want and mount on the dry wall over some studs. Drill a wholein each of the 2x4s and slide the conduit through it. Instant rack for less then $10.

    Poorboy's World Question

How long it is going to last will depend on how the customer maintains the car between detailings. Do they keep it in a garage, or is it always outside, do they run it through a car wash between detailings, or wash it themselves and if so what do they wash it with. I use PB products and have...

Do you remember these automotive "gimmicks"???

How about the little pills you could put in your gas tank to stop burning oil and improve gas mileage by 10-15%

Body work issues, or am I way too picky?

Let the paint fully cure and out gas before you do anything besides wash and apply a QD product. The 90 days they now quote is there for a reason. I wouldn't recommend having it repainted again. The shop did a good job, just a bad detail after they were done.
