I went back over with the menzerna and the PC. This time i used the orange pad and took much more time on it. I also kicked into 6,000 opm at the end. I think i achieved great results, it's just those deep ones still show. My bumper is very stubborn though, some light scratches came out but...

I agree, black cars do look amazing when they're clean. I used an Edge green cutting pad with Menzerna intensive polish followed up by Menzerna Final Polish II with a white polishing pad. I wiped it down with an Adam's Polishes microfiber towel. I worked in the compound between speed 4000-5000...

Green pad and detail spray as lubricant. I didnt' get to final polish the whole car, but the hood was. I must be very inexperienced with the PC

I bought a black T.A. about 6 months ago. I always loved black and i wanted a black car. After owning it for awhile, i now realize how much of a pain it is to keep it clean. I know i'm preaching to the choir here. I was wondering if there is any special steps or products that work best...

I have the same problem with the flip headlights on my Trans Am. Will Scratch X or any product get these out? I tried the most agressive pad with menzerna intensive polish and it didn't quite make a big difference. Any suggestions?

Did you use any dressing to top that off? I think that looks great. I've been looking for a spray that will restore that deep black color to my engine bay. All i have is Adams VRT which is ok on big parts.
