    Rust under Where battery sits

So my engine bay is rusting under where the battery sits. I guess the battery tray didn't help... The paint that is discolored, is really bubbly like the skin of the paint is not in contact with metal. I feel I can easily peel off the discolored paint. What's the best way to deal with this...

2003 BMW M3 hood was repainted, has hazy/dull reflection

I decided against wetsanding, you're right I could easily make a mistake, and make it worse. I gave it another shot with orange pad (don't have anything stronger atm, because I thought I'd only be using it on my truck) + UC + UP + Meg's Yellow Wax. It did shine up a bit more, but still has...

2003 BMW M3 hood was repainted, has hazy/dull reflection

My friend doesn't notice it all, even when I point it out to him. He says something is wrong with me, and it looks completely fine. Seriously lol? It's the first thing I noticed when I looked at the car... Looks worse in person. I've never tried wetsanding before, is it fairly easy?

Why do the pictures come out so small on here? Does this website auto resize em for you? Anyways here are some new pictures of the hood:

2003 BMW M3 hood was repainted, has hazy/dull reflection

Hello everyone, I'm selling my friends 2003 BMW M3 for him. I quickly noticed the hood was repainted, as the reflection did not match up to the rest of the car. I would not be comfortable selling it in this condition. I tried using Meguiars Ultimate Compound with a orange pad, but the reflection...

Were these scratches too deep to remove?

He bought it used like 4 months ago. Said he has to park at the right angle to get it in (tight fit width wise). Just moved his business (expanded), and a lots been going on. So he's too tired when het gets home too care, or in a rush to get out I guess lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Were these scratches too deep to remove?

Well I got another call from my boss, telling me to bring my PC again... He scratched his Tundra on his garage pillar again!!! This time the scratch was on the rear quarter panel. Before: After: Hopefully there will be :nomore: :buffing: at work!

Were these scratches too deep to remove?

Yeah, I told him I didn't want to go any further in trying to remove them. He wanted me to use this 3M Rubbing Compound another co-worker brought, I straight up said hell no to that. Just wanted to make sure, nothing else can be done, except touch up paint or a repaint. Sent from my iPhone...

Were these scratches too deep to remove?

Used my PC for the first time today, though I've had it for a few months now. My boss side swiped his garage pillar with his Tundra. The scratches were pretty deep, my fingernail catches in em. I gave it a shot with the PC, Ultimate Compound, and Ultimate Polish. The PC7424XP vibrates intensely...

Car repainted and turned matte overtime

Yeah shop agreed to redo it. I do have a PC, but he lives pretty far. I was just curious if the shop was being honest about darker cars and water base paint absorbing the clear coat, seems weird IMO. First time seeing that happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Car repainted and turned matte overtime

My cousins 2008 black G37 (non scratch resist paint) had a couple panels repainted a few months back. It was nice and shiny after repainting, but over a few months it's slowly turning into a matte finish. What could cause this? Body shop said the new "water based paints" can absorb some of the...

    Which Megs Wax with DA

Ordered M26, can I apply to the whole vehicle before buffing off? Is M26 one of the waxes that will stain trim? Mike, my trucks paint is in good shape, I've always washed, clayed, waxed it myself properly. Just some minor swirls, that's it. Only thing is I never polished it, well I guess I...

How to clean specific wheels, plastic fake chrome, and metal bumper?

Thanks for the replies, one thing I was also wondering is if it is safe to polish and clay the rock guard/ chip guard paint. This paint runs along both sides of my truck on the bottom. It is thick, somewhat squishy, and very lumpy. I guess it's so small rocks would bounce off instead of chip the...
