My new Cyan pads are done...

There was some heavy force used on the first pad used, but nothing excessive or lack of polish. I opened a brand new cyan pad and it started to split under medium to light pressure. I'll get an email sent to you later this week with pictures. Thanks David! And to those reading this and not...

My new Cyan pads are done...

HateSwirls, are they "chunking"? I recently bought some and after about 10 minutes of use they fell apart. Using a 3401 as we'll...

Just got a BigFoot! Need help.

Luxury item? I bought my flex knowing I was going to buy a few Rupes products as we'll. To the OP, do some reading on Kevin Brown and Larry form AMMO NYC. Both heavily use Rupes products and offer plenty of advice on using them. Jump into AGO's buffer section and go through the Rupes forum...

    Lubrication for claying

I just use the soapy water as I'm washing with my nano skin sponge. Wash panel, rinse then hold my wash mitt at the top of the panel and clay. Haven't used QD as a clay lube in some time...

Flex, Hydro pads, Pinnacle product issues..

I have and I used the same technique that Mike shows, only difference is the products being used. I stepped up to the cyan pad with XMT #3 and still received the micro marring issue after following it with XMT #2 on the orange pad. I did use the XMT #2 with the orange pad on a Dodge to remove...

Flex, Hydro pads, Pinnacle product issues..

With the LC hydro-techs the cyan is a cutting pad, orange is a polishing pad, and the red is a finishing pad with a light cut. My arm speed is slow as well, about a inch per second while performing section passes. I'm know my technique isn't the best but I thought it would be good enough to...

Flex, Hydro pads, Pinnacle product issues..

Hey AG, I'm having some issues with my products marring my paint. I'm using the pinnacle line up as I thought they where a good first polish to buy. I used a orange polishing pad with the #2 fine swirl remover and received poor results of cutting and the heavy marring issue. Stepped up to #3 on...

Rupes LHR 12E Duetto or LHR 15ES for Weekend Warrior

Oh the slant-nose!! :dblthumb2: Next on my reading list.. Do some reading in the Rupes forum in the buffer section. Lots of good info in that section. From what I understand with Rupes machines is you let the product/pad/buffer do most of the work for you rather than a PC style DA that you put...

Advice of relocating, what tools to use?

Arizona is a lovely place if you can handle the heat. The first two months of our summer season aren't that bad, but the later two are full of wind, rain, dust. All while still averaging 110. That temperature and 25-40% humidity makes some days rough. My girlfriend and I still find ourselves...
