    B&B - Your right about the price structure, it wasn't the actual deal that makes the profit, its like a coupon, once the customers are in the door for some inexpensive hand washes he was able to introduce his other services and explain how he could help them while the car was sitting right...

    I think pricing has a lot to do with how much work you have... For example I have a friend who used a social deal site (there are a couple of them) offering half price hand wash and vac, once he got them in the door the upsells just kept coming! I think he had over 150 people purchase the deal...

    Wax or sealant

    If you don't have time to wax often a paint sealant is your best bet. Wax tends to last only a few weeks where I live (Mass) paint sealant will be your best alternative. Paint sealants can last up to 6 months, depending on where your car sleeps, and how much asphalt it sees..
