Yeah man, this is hitting home too...I got hrs reduced for a few months now, but today we got word that if things don't pick up by January the company will close its doors...I still have faith and do my best to stay positive, but at the same time I'm already building crab snares (for fishing)...

I use what ever laundry detergent I have on hand and it works fine...I just make sure it does not have softeners. I do add some backing soda or oxiclean some times

IMHO, any polish will remove remove your LSP. In my opinion, pro polish is very gentle actually even when used with an orange pad. See the chart: Autogeek Swirl Removers & Compounds Comparison Chart

I use the PC 7335 which is the same as the 7336 but with a 5" backing plate...these are 1st generation units and are not very powerful but work just fine...I'll recommend you to install a 5" backing plate and use the 5.5" flat pads with it, so you can maximize the tool potential.
