    Underrated/Overlooked: Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating

Weird, I've seen a lot of water spotting on vertical surfaces. More than the only ceramic spray I've ever tried. I also have a black truck so it shows really easy along with road film. I'm not saying it sucks. I'd rather still use it than the wolfgang 6 month spray ceramic.

    Underrated/Overlooked: Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating

Good question. A few salt/brine/slush storms. 3 touchless washes. One contact wash with me freezing my butt off. The vehicle stays outside so lots of ice. Upstate NY.

    Underrated/Overlooked: Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating

I'm at a little bit over 6 weeks with this product and so far so good. I see very little, if any, change. Still just as slick and hydrophobic. I WILL say that it doesn't have nearly the self cleaning abilities as a ceramic. Better than a wax or traditional sealant though.

    Underrated/Overlooked: Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating

I just ordered one from the closest location to me and will grab it at lunch time. They limited me to only one. If there's more in store I will grab those as well. I'd hate to pay $60 for the kit. While it seems like a great product, only coating two cars for that price is a little steep.

Just a heads up. Autozone has this kit discounted to $20 now in my area. I hope they will still produce it next year.

    Underrated/Overlooked: Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating

I just gave this product a try yesterday. Picked up the last one a local AZ for the $33 price. Overall I liked it. -Very slick -fast on/off -Doesn't stain trim. -The box say at least one year protection....we'll see. -60 degree minimum temp. Odd. I ended up using my garage propane heater and...

Ceramic coated now would like to add more depth

AFAIK, the wolfgang uber ceramic spray is a real coating just thinner. My car is more of a sunny day summer only deal. It absolutely will not see any NY winter. I figure a strong ceramic base then a yearly beauty wax will work just fine until my next polish which is an every 3-4 year event . I...

Ceramic coated now would like to add more depth

I just coated my car with the wolfgang uber ceramic coating spray. I put on two layers. It made the car look somewhat sterile. Very clear and glassy which I expected. Now I would like to added some depth and warmth back into it. Is there a compatible topper that will do this? Everything I read...

Garage Lighting - Looking for recommendations

If you have access to the space above the garage then it would be easy to add more light fixtures. I was in the same boat. Two standard porcelain screw type bulb holders. I first installed 4ft LED shop lights by switching the fixtures to ones that have an outlet as well as the screw fitting. I...

Question for you guys who live in a blizzard..

Floor liners are the best solution. I live in upstate NY. The OPs pic is basically what one storm can do if you use your car during the "clean up" phase which is when the road crews and parking lots have tremendous amounts of salt down for liability reasons. I swear the salt usage increases...

2013 Mustang Red Candy- Which Natural Wax?

Wow, that's some nice paint Bob even for a GM product. Is that just the fk 1000 or is there a sealant underneath?

2013 Mustang Red Candy- Which Natural Wax?

Guess I have two questions. My traditional recipe is BFWD then BFCS topped with Midnight Sun. Is that overkill for a summer only ride? Would I get better results not using a sealant at all? I did experience a "graying out" and had to do a light polish the car this spring to remove the buildup...
