I know exactly what you're talking about....i have a black Yukon...painted trim, same problem. It's basically faded semi black trim now. Not the gloss like brand new. I may have some pictures, hang on a few and i'll try to figure out how to post em. I hit mine with some 205 cuz they looked...

    Haze on black paint

I was surprised to because the rest of the vehicle turned out great. This area has not been repainted or antying either. It's all factory paint. I think I'll hit it with 205 and a softer pad to see what that does. It's all been clayed and hit with dawn too. There shouldn't be anything on...

    Haze on black paint

Primarily Megs maroon cutting pad, followed by their soft buff yellow pad. This is a bigger flat area...side of the door, so I am almost positive its megs 6.5"...

    Hand polishing

I'm all for that....do you just use a standard store bought pad or do you have any better recomendations? Are there hand pads that cut like our machine pads?

    Hand polishing

What do you guys like to use on the areas the machine can't get to? What pads or products should a guy invest in for the nooks and crannies when you're doing swirl removal?

Has there been any major changes since 08 other than the sale of course? Anyone see any big changes coming? Quality and products still as good as it was pre sale?

    Need some advice please

Ok, so the weather has come around finally in the midwest. I didn't have a ton of time but I wanted to experiment so I have a game plan for when it's "go" time! The project is a black 2007 Yukon. Pretty sure it hasn't seen a machine polishing, the water does bead so it's probably got the basic...
