I have been away too long. No more Detail Fest. That's a shame. I used to love attending them back in 06 and next 5 after. I just bought I new Hemi truck, I thought I would be back again. Oh well, A.G. was fun while it lasted. Now it's just another storefront, albeit, does contain a great forum...

    Plastic head light protection ?

Opti lens - Is that a type of wax?, I'll check this product out in the store. I do have Aerospace 303 and have been using it also. If the Optilens is a better product, it might be worth it to buy it. I've done my share of sanding with 4 of grades of wet paper. then putting the rotary on them...

Long time no post dude needing a bit a of a recommendation on how to preserve those clear plastic housings over my head lights and tail lenses. What's the secret to keeping new besides buying another set in 6 years? I still have my old now yellow rumble bee, and just bought a new set of h/l for...

    Hplv, can't spray this...mc hammer

I could be wrong but I don't believe I'd run latex through an hvlp gun, at least I wouldn't consider it with my guns. Maybe the electric type of Wagner paint gun is the better gun to use.

    Aluminum rims ruined by acid...

Great Job! This is a classic example on why we all should start out less aggressive on restoring a finish. If you had whipped out the sand paper which may have appeared necessary to a lot of folks, you'd have spent 3 times the amount of time you took to restore them, and maybe even averted...

    Tires still brown after scrubbing...

just for what it's worth I rarely put dressing on my tires, and I rarely have to scrub them to keep them black. I have found it is more work to keep them looking nice with dressings applied. I am a fan of westley's bleeche white also. It is a great product along with purple power citrus...

What the hell are these (Spots On Paint)

Are the spots dotted around the vehicle as a whole, any pattern to it? - I believe you said yes and no, and no spots on anything else. and it started to show on very warm sunny day. I'd dare to say it's a defective clear coat application, maybe multiple coats applied to quickly over another, or...

    Paint Coating Durability Shootout Recommendations

I seem to favor the Duragloss 601 - 105 combo. This would be a good shootout recommendation. :xyxthumbs:

    2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Express

I have 107k on my '05, never had a problem, and I don't exactly treat it like a baby between the gears. check out the hemi truck club website forum, you will find real honest opinions and help there. do that before you buy.. on a separate tune -- always mod the truck yourself - buy it in the...

    Angie's List...Pros and Cons?

I always figured the BBB is the best resource for consumers, not a for profit website like another said here. always another scheme out there looking for the quick/big buck that we can do without! ;)
