Will my tires ever be clean

Try a tar remover like Stoner's Tarminator. Either spray directly on the tire or onto a throwaway microfiber. Go to town spraying the tire liberally with cleaner if you have to. My Ford's Hankook tires are difficult to clean and never come up with white foam no matter how many times I...

    I’ve tried Beadmaker...

That guy is starting to piss me off. It's 2019 and he's only just started to figure that he should have been trying Meg's Mirror Glaze and Detailer line products a long time ago. Probably never gave 'em a fair shake because they're not nearly as expensive as the products he uses.

    I’ve tried Beadmaker...

Good thing I only bought a 16 oz. of this if this really is an average product to try out instead of dumping money into a gallon like I almost did. I mean, I'd never even heard of P&S until the Rag company, OG, and other youtube shills started peddling this stuff, so not surprising this flavor...

    Megs D110 Hyper Wash

It was only $27 a gallon a few months ago..... Don't know what happened with Autogeek's prices on the Detailer line products. They all seemed to have shot up over 25%.

Throwing away microfiber towels after coating?

I've never used a coating before, but I'll chime in. I stopped throwing towels away, even my cheapy Autozone towels I use for engines/wheel wells/tires. One can never have too many microfiber towels. This includes towels one is willing to throw in the trash bin without hesitation, which...

Brine alert! This is not a drill!

Picture a world where we don't use brine to prevent ice buildup on the roadways. Now throw in the average driver and their accompanying skillset out there. That is why streets are coated with brine in the winter, our paint finish be damned. Safety is way more important than our paint, as much as...

Experienced opinions needed on this controversial video on car soaps!!!

Never heard of this guy, clearly a hack. I'm sure that purple power soap is slightly better at cleaning superficial road tar, but even using that soap every week, one eventually would need to clay. Nothing is gonna stop super hot brake dust from bonding to your paint even with wax on it. He must...

How am I scratching my car?

Hate to say it OP, but pretty much your entire wash process is horrible for your paint. Water blades and brushes (no matter how soft or expensive) are damaging to your paint. You also didn't mention if you use a two-bucket wash with grit guards. How long have you been washing cars yourself...

    Megs d103 or d101 ?

Depends, for interior trim you spray on the towel not the panel and don't need to buff with a clean towel unless you really want to. If you clean upholstery you should wipe the excess with a clean microfiber.

    Megs d103 or d101 ?

    1. I've yet to experience any staining of rubber, vinyl or plastic in the 4 years I've been using D101. YMMV. You certainly shouldn't spray and let the product sit. I have used D101 undiluted on tires and bird poop to no ill effect. There could have been a myriad of reasons someone might have...

    Megs d103 or d101 ?

You can use it on exterior components. Diluted properly, it's safe on rubber and exterior trim. Just avoid glass and be careful around aluminum, paint, wheels (ok to use on clear-coated wheels if careful) and clear plastics.

Did my dryer kill my microfibers

Yup, people have drying lines. Pretty common feature in a home with a backyard (I have it, and I use it). I accidentally typed line dry instead of hang dry, though, which is what I really do. I bought several indoor clothes drying rack to dry my microfiber indoors so they don't get debris.

Did my dryer kill my microfibers

I've charred some microfibers in the dryer. In essence, the strands in a certain spot literally fused into a lump and the overall characteristics of the microfiber changed. The spots that didn't fuse together remained forever matted down. So for those of you claiming high dryer heat can't kill a...

    Megs d103 or d101 ?

D103 was all purpose cleaner plus, it was discontinued. The replacement will be out next year, I believe. D107 And d101 does not protect, you will need dressing. It is a good all purpose cleaner if you're looking to simplify your life. I've used it on many parts of a vehicle to good effect.
