    Mytee Lite 8070 II Problems

Tried running my mytee lite 8070 off of one of the 2,000 watt generators. It will run the heater and the pump, or the pump and vacuum, not all 3 at the same time. I'm stuck waiting a week for the 2nd generator since Costco was out of stock. As soon as it comes in I'll give it a shot running...

    Mytee Lite 8070 II Problems

I think I found my problem both times it acted up I was on a 100 ft extension cord (12 gauge). Plugged it into the wall and it's back to running like before. Never had any problems with it on my 50 ft. Cord (12 gauge). I just picked up a couple of 2000 watt Yamaha generators, interesting to see...

    Mytee Lite 8070 II Problems

I'm experiencing the same issue as the OP, so to my understanding a good dose of CLR through the system, and compressed air to blow out the solution line? Preface: I've owned my machine about a year now, I've used it about 6 times. I've used mytee's solution twice now, both times following their...

    First Winter Detail

Great turn around on that beast! Oddly enough, I have some sort of sick attraction to neglected cars, I love the difference seen after a few hours. My favorite part is definitely seeing the customers jaw hit the ground when they see what I've done with their vehicle. Great job!!!

    What's your go-to AIO?

I really like Blackfire Total Polish & Seal. Works really good for minor correction (corrected alot more than I was expecting). Left a great shine behind. I topped with a coat of CG Butter Wet Wax and the vehicle turned out awesome!

    Finding a good detailer

Some advise for finding a good detailer: Do your research, often times the big wash-o-matic "hand wash" car wash place is not your best bet. While they may get your car clean, they mostly offer a production detail service. The want to get it done quicker so they can move on to the next car and...

*tax refund* what are you going to spend it on?

Putting my wife's daily driver / weekend mobile detail rig into the shop for a rear valve cover gasket & new radiator. After 226k on the clock, I can't complain too much!

Clean up fire extinguisher residue from car paint and interior surfaces

Being someone who serviced fire extinguishers in the past, I can tell you that your in for some work. The biggest key is do not use any heat until your sure you've removed everything. The powder inside an extinguisher is designed to melt and bond to whatever is on fire which prevents oxygen from...

Optimum Giveaway! Chance to win Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant...

I've really fallen in love with opti-bond tire gel. Works great for me, lasts a nice long time as well. We just got rain here, and the water is beading up on the tires. I'm impressed! As for the Carpet & Fabric Cleaner, I've got some neglected floormats and carpets in my own detail rig that...

    Picking the right compound/polish combo

Megs M105/M205 is my go to. I've also had good luck with Chemical Guys V32/V34/V36/V38 polishes (for some reason when I first started everything had to be CG... I have since learned the error of my ways). Honestly though, I think most people here will say you can't go wrong with M105/M205...
