Yeah, I'd love to find a less expensive alternative for the CR brand resin.

You must not use it that much if you can go 8 months.

CR claims that the shelf life of the resin (even if its still in the sealed bags) is only 12-18 months. I'm not sure if that's true, but that's what they told me when I called them a few months ago. I have the largest setup and it works well, but the resin is expensive.

Yeah maybe I'll use them on the interior or my gel coat fifth wheel :)

So, why are people so happy to find these for 3 for $1.99? I'm a sucker and bought 5 packs anyway. I figure I'll find something to use them for.

Guess I just didn't see them the first time. I've got to say though, they don't feel that great. They seem like a step down from the ones at Sam's Club or Costco.

Is the technique for using the Flex effectively any different than with the GG or PC? I'd think the forced rotation would make it a but easier. I've notice with the GG its fairly easy to stall the pad rotation if you aren't careful. Maybe I need to search for some good tutorial videos specific...

I just called up and switched my order from the 6.5" pads to the LC backing plate system and the 5" hybrids in the same colors. This site costs me so much money.

Keep both? Well, that does save me from having to box it up and all....I'm so easily corrupted.

BTW, I started by ordering a 6 pack of the 6.5" LC Hybrid pads, so that I don't have to switch backing plates yet. I went with 2 orange, 2 white, and 2 black. Hopefully that will be a good all around setup.

I just took advantage of the sale and ordered the Flex 3401. I have a recently purchased GG6 that is still eligible for return (not purchased from AG). With the superior capabilities of the Flex, is there any good reason to keep the GG6? Is there anything that the GG6 is better at or SAFER FOR...
