Coating results are usually seen washes after washes. Only then the appreciation comes. Every newly coated car will look the same no matter which LSP you use. So the $7 car wash is still important.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Misting water over 205 merely extends the working time. I highly doubt it'll dilute the compound or water down the compound. The 205 is a unigrit compound.. It dries up but doesn't breakdown like the diminishing abrasives such as menzerna.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I have the Flex. Don't own BF so cannot comment. Just wanna add that unless the Flex stopped working. Otherwise it doesn't need servicing or maintenance. These are the words from my Flex dealer. So far I only have replaced the backing plate. The white foam part disintegrated over time due to...

Lesser product is better. So the wipe off is less laborious. And chances of inflicting swirls by towels is lower. A uni grit product like 205 can be top up in between passes. So less is okay.

If the paint is soft. 205 on a black pad can remove the holograms nicely. Just remember to keep the pads clean every alternate loading. Clogged or dirty pads can cause micro swirls on soft paints too.
