I've read that you can 100% use the HydroBlue on fresh wax, but it doesn't bond as well so it doesn't last as long. This, in my opinion, means that it doesn't make sense to use it on freshly waxed vehicles. As for tonneau covers... I'm not sure. I mean i got some on my plastic and rubber seals...
