My review is similar, I recieved it as a free gift too. It struggled to remove bugs, tar and sap droplings larger then 1mm in size, it seemed to work fairly well on the little over spray or stuck on specs. I did the entire car from top to bottom and overall it came out smooth, I get the feeling...

I use 1-2 coats of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant, then top with 1-2 coats Souveran Paste depending on time, all applied by hand.

I use the Wolfgang cleaner and tire gel, love them both, best I've ever used, the gel is just right, it makes the tire jet black but it doesn't look gooey or slicked. I have never tried pinnacle.
