I put 2 coats of 845 on the wife's car in Oct./Nov. It has been washed twice since then, with 156 used during drying. Still beads like it was waxed yesterday.

Have you tried Megs D156 X-press Spray Wax? It'll do what you're asking, with no problem.

I'm new to machine polishing and 105 isn't that bad. It does dry quickly, and will dust but I've found that frequent pad cleaning/replacing and occasional water misting help.

2 coats of Collinite 845 back in October, and a Megs D156 wipe down 4 days ago.

I typically use a low lap MF towel as well. With something as aggressive as M105, it doesn't take long at all.
