Thanks for the reply Richy.
It's hard to tell how level the chip repairs are.
I thought a leveler is recommended on chip repair.
Your skills must be quite good.
I'm gonna try to tackle my chips with factory touch-up paint and Langka.
In any case, well done.
Michael
Nice work!
About filling in those chips...Did you use Langka Blob Eliminator as well? I have chips of similar size I need to fill and bought Langka but have yet to try it out.
Thanks.

Oh, I also wanted to ask.
The first time I used PF, my LC HT Tang Pad was a little damp (didn't dry completely) and I had a hard time removing PF after 5-6 passes. Smeared quite a bit.
Perhaps a damp pad and too much product?
All the feedback and opinions are great. Y'all are awesome. Keep chiming in if you have more to contribute. I'll try it out later today. I'll test one door with a panel wipe, and the other without.

Can I go directly from PF to PNS without having to use IPA or equivalent to completely remove the polish?
Since they are from the same manufacturer, I am thinking it's not necessary, like Optimum's products.
Anyone have experience with this?
Just trying to cut out an additional process and...
I made a sharpie mark on my sunvisor earlier today. See pic.
Has anyone taken the stain out successfully?
I have Meg's APC+, LATA, a steamer and magic erasers.
Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the follow up Mike.
Your responses are very thorough and I'm sure every member and lookey-loo of this forum appreciate it.
But to follow up your response, you let them wetsand and rotary buff perfectly good paint since you needed a replacement vehicle?
Michael
Hi Mike,
What are those defects on your paint? Hard to tell.
How did you get them since your truck is well maintained and you wipe your car down often?
I was wondering how many times you have compounded/polished this vehicle's paint?
The reason I ask is I have to lightly compound my black...
I used the brush attached to the pole on the bonnet, roof, and windshield. I used it by hand on the rest of the vehicle. I suggest users use it by hand when possible and use no pressure.
SY, I assume you are applying zero pressure and just letting the brush glide across the paint?
And yes, I...
I used the brush on my 2006 Lexus LS430 in Obsidian Black.
Much to my chagrin, it scratched the paint.
I soaked the brush for 30 minutes prior to use.
I foam gunned the car with CG Maxi Suds II, rinsed, and then 2BM with CG Citrus Wash & Gloss.
I have horizontal scratches (from fender to...
:applause:
Thanks for the replies everyone.
Yeah, the factory coating hasn't degraded at all, just a little marring like I mentioned.
Your input is appreciated.
