    Leather Cleaning, Lexus-specific

Thank you for the tips. I'll try a combination of the Mother's you suggested and the products that Mike listed above. I'm a big fan of HD-Speed so I'll be adding HD-Protect into my shopping cart as well!

    Leather Cleaning, Lexus-specific

Hi Mike. Thank you for the link to that Lexus...I remember when you first posted it. My seats are in better shape than those but I will give the D181 a try and follow-up with the Jay Leno product above. I'll post some before/after shots once it is complete.

Ah, good point. I believe the side bolsters are vinyl but the actual seating surfaces are indeed leather.

    Leather Cleaning, Lexus-specific

Hi All. I just recently acquired a 2004 Lexus GX470 as a vehicle to use for back-country exploration and road trips. It's got ivory factory leather seats and I'm looking for advice on how to clean and care for it. I'm well-versed in detailing and am a bit of a weekend warrior. While I have great...

    what's your weather currently like?

When is it time for new pads?

I've got a handful of LC green CCS pads that I've had for about 7 years now. I can just barely tell the difference, visually between the really used ones and the ones I just took out of the plastic. The older pads appearance in the round divots aren't as crisp as the newer ones. Best I can tell...

    No More Love for Surbuf?

I don't think my trial purchase goes back that far but thanks for posting that! Always nice to see more of KB's helpful insight.

    No More Love for Surbuf?

A while back (okay, a long while), I jumped on the Surbuf bandwagon. At the time, I had a nice complement of LC CCS pads for a variety of purposes but I just wasn't getting the results I wanted with regards to marring on rounded edges such as fenders and radiuses on bumper covers (no doubt...

    2010 Lexus ES350 - Rupes UHS + Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish

Absolutely amazing restoration! I know how the climate there can affect finishes over a small geographical area: I grew up in Manhattan Beach and lived in Hawthorne for about 5 years (now in Seattle). Back in the ol days chrome bumpers would pit and rust and dark colors would oxidize in no time...

Griots products and boss system, why I'm switching!

Speaking of parts-store products, I was in my local Auto Zone two weeks ago where I picked up a bottle (the last one) of Paint Protect 365...for $1.77! Anyway, I happened to notice that my AZ stocked an impressive amount of GG products: a GG6, MF and foam pads, 3 types of BOSS creams and window...

Griots products and boss system, why I'm switching!

I'm tempted to give them a try as well. I was thinking of posting a question in a new topic: "Who's switched exclusively to Griot's." I have a variety of products now (mostly Meg's and PB's) but I'd love to try a single source/brand if it's feasible.
