    Meg's #21 V 2.0 problem

I use #21 2.0 as the LSP for virtually all of my clients, and have yet to have this problem. How thick (or thin) are you applying the product? It uses an insanely small amount during application. I have done about 6 vehicles with less than 2 ounces~ of #21. Also, were you using the blue pad...

Has anyone tried the Mequiars m105 yet.

The problem *I* see with that advice is that it really only helps if you have an endless supply of fresh pads (ie work for Meg's). The foamed wool pads for instance get gunked up very quickly, and the duospur and "on the fly cleaning" methods both fall short. Perhaps you would be so kind as...

Has anyone tried the Mequiars m105 yet.

Lol, ok...thanks buddy ...I must be doing something terribly wrong then considering it flashes fairly quickly, and dusts horribly from the very get go on numerous pads and speeds. I wish I had your skills...shucks.

    Flex or Megs?

LMAO. I do that EVERY night before a job. It sucks because I can't sleep because I go through my list of products and the order I want to do the detail and it keeps me up for hours :D

Has anyone tried the Mequiars m105 yet.

I just used it with my FLEX and a LC Foamed Purple Wool Pad. It removed heavy swirls in a single pass. Works great as a compound/heavy polish, but it dusts REALLY badly.

    Problem with Meguiars and PC

Cleaning on the fly consists of essentially doing a "quickie" removal of the product buildup on the pad by using either a terry cloth or micro fiber towel and holing it against the pad as you run the buffer on a LOW speed. Many times it also helps to spritz the pad or towel with instant detailer...

    FLEX XC3401 problem

Lmao, you answered it for me! It says TWICE that it requires PRESSURE, DUH? Do you not speak English? Here's some help: Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) - Cite This Source - Share This pres·sure Audio Help /ˈprɛʃər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[presh-er]...

    Detailed: 2000 Dodge Intrepid

Makes sense- simple every day light scratches and swirls will reduce gloss. The #80 is a great tool to remedy that. Out of curiosity, how many passes did it take with the #80?

    FLEX XC3401 problem

I appreciate the second opinion, but I have to kindly diagree on his actual intent. The guy has literally stalked me and gone into every thread he can find of mine to try and point out flaws in my posts ever since I mentioned his bias. It's kind of flattering really, but more childish and...

Apollo Detailing: 2007 Porsche Cayman S (35+ Pictures)

Looks great from what I can see. Care to elaborate on what method you used to remove the gum from the leather?

Funny you mention that, I tried the same thing and had the experience of a lifetime- twice :righton: :D

    Mixing Products...

I have some D151...interesting stuff. It has a fair amount of cut, but I am a tad disappointed in the slickness left behind by the wax. That said, as for mixing something with that product...that would be incredibly tricky IMO, given that it ALREADY has a careful balance of polish and...

    FLEX XC3401 problem

Ok, if you want it that way... You state that NO experienced detailer would put pressure on a FLEX, but immediately follow-up stating that someone who came from a PC background WOULD want to put pressure on the FLEX given that the flex does share many characteristics of the PC world. You...

    FLEX XC3401 problem

Read what I wrote ZoranC. You're in such a hurry to attack me and point out my errors every time I post in every single thread that you don't even read what I write. I said that experienced users would be more INCLINED to push hard, NOT that you should. You're posting and explaining the exact...

    FLEX XC3401 problem

It's funny you say that...because more experienced users WOULD be inclined to press hard considering that is precisely what you are supposed to do with PCs, G100/G110, etc. As for tightening the bolt, that's great you did...but I still don't see how everyone is "expected" to do that. When you...
