I may grab a couple cutting MF pads just in that case those are deemed necessary on specific parts.
Makes sense on the polishing pads - Green/White LCC seems more appropriate. I'll save the Black/Blue if I want to go PO85RD
Fair enough to say you could hit a car with Jescar Compound on say a LC MF Polishing Pad then follow up with Jescar Ultra on say a Blue/Black/Red foam pad w/no cut?
This may be stupid - but I've been out of touch the past couple years.
I need to do some correction on my Scion FRS - It's taken some abuse over the past year or so with Track and AutoX and the Gtechniq Coating seems to have worn off - at least to the point where I'd like to polish off the...
Hey All, haven't posted in a long time so figured I'd make a return.
I purchased a 2016 Scion FRS with 31 miles on the clock from a dealership last November. Given 2017 stock was coming in I got a fairly decent deal on it, but that also meant the car was sitting on the lot a long time before I...
Minor update.
3 car washes done since application.
Got 6" of snow yesterday, so salt and brine are all over the road now. Most cars were covered with snow yesterday at the end of the day, but my snow melted and formed these ice beads. Still stuck on my car even after a 20 minute drive to the...
I agree to write a review of Bouncer's Fortify Wax:
(Would be used on the 2 cars in the background as well E92 328xi and a E83 X3 if my E82 128 cannot fulfill the duties of applying this wax...currently has Dodo Juice Nano Sealant on the paint)
Minor Update:
Car finally got in rain and I was able to use the wipers. However, the next day there were marks made from the wiper blades where they would normally stop.
Seems like excess residue getting pushed to the end of the wiper blades travel, so I'll have to investigate later today...
Really wish I could justify spending $2k on shocks.
Car is my track and autocross baby. Trying to go full-prep for SCCA Autocross but the shocks are holding me back.
To comment at the OP - Trying to figure out if I want to install an X-Pipe. Threw these cans on a couple months ago:
Rogue...
Instructions actually told me to avoid using a foam applicator:
Never really thought of using a MF applicator, that would of probably been easier
Thank you!
Yea, I was really hesitant on going with this product with the limited amount of information on the forums
Thanks, interesting...
Thank you, nothing like a stripped down car w/a 6-spd and a sports package to be an awesome DD. I can't really compare to other products on the market because like I said, I'm new to the Quartz type game.
Next time I wash I'll try to get a video up with how the water beads and sheets off the...
As the title says, I'm going to be doing a full write up for a DIY with a review of the Dodo Juice Supernatural Infinity Nano Paint Sealant. This was my first time using such a product, so it should be a fairly good comparison for anyone else that wants to tackle such a procedure.
Before I...
Good luck :/
I would DD the Z, but that clutch in traffic would be terrible.
@720: I drove a E90 and E92 and wasn't that impressed. Nice car and all, but bland, IMO
