Nice, fan of the high maintenance color here too, I have a new black F150 and have similar success with HD products but I went a step farther and ceramic coated it. It does help keep it clean and easy to wash. I only mention it since I waited 6 months and wish I did it ASAP.

I always went with 8oz per gallon for clay and pre treat ratio.

Concrete plants use additives that often ship in 200 gallon totes on nice hardwood pallets, I have a few from those sources. They need to be cleaned but often can be had for lunch for the batchman.

I've used the coating on my Mustang Track Pack painted wheels, with success, they are not black.

I did have iron x leave marks on the plastic splitters on my car. Now I avoid letting any run off hit the area. YMMV
