I've only heard good things about bug squash. But personally never tried it. I have been impressed with duragloss bug remover though

for the pre wax cleaner you can just use isoprophyl alcohol mixed 50/50 with water. and I would look into polishes again. the nano you have listed as more abrasive is more used as a finishing polish than a swirl remover

what about bug and tar remover?

I used natttys blue on my platinum grey jetta and love how it looks. Smells good too. I've been wanting to try red but havent got around to it yet.
