    The Ph study

Agree that all you need a good shampoo and you're all set, no need to bother about ph neutral stuff But to answer your question we did test some shampoo's before with a litmus paper and most did come neutral even the cheap ones

Rupes 15 vs Rupes 21 w/5" backing plate

I'd say go for the 21 with 5" BP the reduction in vibration maybe not be that noticeable but it will for sure make corrections faster compared to using the 15, question remaining i guess would be if the price difference would be worth the little added speed, i guess thats something you have to...

Soft99 Fusso Coat Mirror Shine Car Coating (Japan)

I've tried some of their products name the waterblock wax and the fusso gecki wax, both these paste waxes repel water really well and i would say comparable to higher end waxes, gloss is above average but not the best IMO, their sealants aren't bad as well they last long enough in tropical...

Found this is my garage..what is it..

Looks like an old bottle of m81 i think this would be a lighter DAT version of m205 if you are to compare them, if anything i think it would fall under finishing polish but im not really sure, the closest product i have to that is m80 and i love it

What am I doing wrong? Foam pad damage related

Usually happens when you apply too much pressure that the backing plate reaches or crushes the foam that or if you're running the polisher not completely flat and tilted on one side

    Pads - velcro issues?!?!

For glues, i thought of using the same glues they use in rubber shoes since i thought if these glues can stick these babies together even when walking and even under a lot of change in shape and pressure it would probably hold well with backing plates and foam pads backing material coming off...

How long to work compound? Halos on XLR have me befuddled

only 8 to 10 seconds to do one pass? isn't that a bit fast? try working it longer it maybe break down the abrasives better but you mentioned you're using 105 and 205 hmm one of their main selling points is that you don't need to break them down you can stop when you are happy with the level of...
