Duragloss...what is they hype about? OPINIONS???

I knew the replies would be harsh. Many of you say that I should have used a polish, I thought I did. Jerry with Duragloss told me that I should use duragloss #671 (swirl remover) which is a polish, then follow up with #601, then top with #105. I tried this process along with adding in the...

Duragloss...what is they hype about? OPINIONS???

OK - i wanted to try a system on my girlfriends nissan. It is a white 2005 with heavy oxidation being we live in HOT virginia and have not washed or waxed it in about a year or so. So I read a ton about Duragloss and the order in which to apply so I figured I would try a couple of things...

    BEST interior cleaner/protectant.....matte finish!!!

Please share your recommendations for the BEST interior protectant for plastic, vinyl, and rubber. I still cannot find a product that leaves a true "matte" finish with NO SHINE. I have used DP interior cleaner and liked it for cleaning only. Thanks for any help on this one!!!

    ***duragloss Users.....free Duragloss***

thanks for the suggestions, I get a strong impression the 501 marine polish is some good stuff after so many suggest using this. This is my confusion, it seems many of you think the 501 is the best cleaner, but I DG staff is saying something different. I shot an email over to DG staff, here is...

    ***duragloss Users.....free Duragloss***

so several you say to use the 501 - that is a marine polish. would you say that is the best cleaner? better that the 601? I know the 601 is a bonding agent but I dont think it cleans well. What i think is best is if i use the best cleaner they offer, then maybe 601 to bond, then top with the...

    Durability??? Collinite Vs Sealant

OK, the DG105 and collinite 845 both sound very good after reading up on them. But why would I do both of these, they are both paint sealants? I apologize, it may be a stupid question. And if you would recommend both, do I still need a pre-wax cleaner before using the DG105 then the 845 for topcoat?

So what do you think - if looking for price effective durablility for my daily driver which is an 2005 NISSAN that I want the most protection possible from scratching/chipping/road contaminants/rain/ect.... would you go with COLLINITE or a SEALANT? ***BRANDS offering warranties/money back***

Hey all - anyone know any brands that offer money back guarantee if not satified with their products? The reason I asked is that I have used some new NXT2.0 and just noticed on the box that they will refund full price if I am not satisfied. There are a ton of products that I have not ever...

****CLAY BAR - creating new scratches???***

I have never used clay before, everyone can't say enough about it. Can claying create new scratches? I know that I use it after the wash but do I do my entire car to ensure it is fully prepped for cleaner/sealant? Or, do people not clay the entire car? My thought is that clay will trap dirt or...

***NEED experienced advice - hand polishing??

Thanks for the advice, i understand that i will be needing to look at using a filler rather than a polish. What would you recommend? Remember I am looking for the most durable alternative being I drive the vehicle a ton. I am thinking these options, let me know if any are good or if there is...

***NEED experienced advice - hand polishing??

This forum hooked me in, so I have my first question: I am new to detailing and do not feel comfortable in using equipment to polish. I have just purchased a 2005 nissan and wanted a nice detailing system that is not crazy difficult or very expensive. The paint has a good amount of swirls and...
