Hi, Back after a couple years and looking from restocking recommendations

Thanks guys, I might check out the American Detailers. Looks like it has good ratios and I’m not terribly concerned about anything extra being left behind. Just like a good rinseless that I can use on any and everything. It’s usually my light interior detailer. I don’t do a lot details anymore...

Hi, Back after a couple years and looking from restocking recommendations

Hey guys and gals. It’s been a while since I’ve visited the forum and im looking to replace some main items that I still use a bit of. Well, the main one that I will always be trying to find a replacement for is Meguiars D114. And, a good replacement for McKees PTR. I’ve have several older...

Mobile detail detail on public streets/lots?

Ive done business parking lots, side streets, and tight alley ways. I’ve only been “harassed” once and it wasn’t really an issue. Some people prefer to get it done where it is convenient for them, and/or not have to have you at their residence. Some people prefer not to have strangers come to...

    Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax

I just tried it out today on my hood and front fenders. Just two sprays on the wet hood and wiped in with a microfiber, then followed behind it with a dry one. Was a little grabby while there was still moisture that had not evaporated yet when first hitting it with a dry towel but after the...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Minerigger, for carpets like that I use a stiff brush held against my shopvac nozzle and agitate and vacuum at the same time. I use a grout and tile brush. Try to get is as clean as you can like that first before you wet it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Critique my setup

Shoot, you’re better stocked, more equipped and better organized than me for sure!!! I’m a minimalist though. Best of luck and have fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    what's your weather currently like?

    Toyota Supra

Really mixed feelings about this car. Yes, it’s cool that it’s a 50/50 weight distribution rear drive turbo car, but it is barely a Toyota. At first I thought it was a reworking of the FRS/BRS to fit a inline 6. Nope, built in the same plant as the Z4, and basically just a Z4 with different...

    Door rubber stuck frozen?

If you have any dielectric grease (sometimes called bulb grease) around you can use that. It is silicone grease and I believe the main ingredient in the Gummi Pflege product. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Minimum temperature to iron-x?

Haha! Too chilly, says the man from SoCal. 40’s seem comfy after it has been real cold. I did one around New Year and it was probably high 40’s low 50’s. I didn’t really even think about it, but it may slow the reaction down a little. I was using SONAX Fallout Cleaner Sent from my iPhone...

Cleaning Fender wells (liner under the fender)

Just correct myself and not feel I put a semi negative comment about Speed Master. I have heard the Speed Master brushes are good. I just don’t like the cheap wire wrapped style ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleaning Fender wells (liner under the fender)

The large Wheel Woolie works well for fender liners. It’s got good reach, holds lots of soap like a mop, and doesn’t bend and stay bent like something like cheap Speedmaster style brush does. It will fit in those tight ones and it doesn’t sling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How to fix Rust showing through original single stage paint?

Just wondering if you think if it’s worth it to use an iron remover like you did with the 1972 Buick Riviera Boattail Decontaminating and Foam Gun Washing a Barn Find by Mike Phillips - GTechniq Citrus Foam and Iron and Fallout Remover Detailing a beater! - 1972 Buick Riviera Boattail -...
