    First time with Cquartz UK

Just wanted to let everyone know I did the full job on Saturday. Worked out great. There were a few spots that were a bit tricky getting rid of some of the high spots (vehicle is pretty curvy around the rear qrtr windows). Glad that I have some experience with DIY detailing, I don't think I...

    First time with Cquartz UK

Thanks guys! I'm in a cooler climate that can get pretty harsh winters so the UK was recommended. I'll look into the carpro suede MF's!

    First time with Cquartz UK

I have a done a ton of reading and I think I have the process down but was hoping for any tips/tricks. The vehicle will be under going a complete wash, then iron-x, then clay bar. Vehicle will then be polished using a DA. I will then use CarPro Eraser. Apply first coat of UK, wait a hour...

    Diamond Kote question

After consulting my paperwork turns out it isn't diamond kote it's actually first Canadian paint protection. Either way why would they offer a refund? The damage to the vehicle was caused by rocks. All I want to do is try to strip the rest of the vehicle and coat it.

    Diamond Kote question

Our vehicle came with Diamond Kote paint protection already applied. 6 months after purchase due to hitting debris on a highway the entire front end + drivers side door was repaired/repainted. Now I want to have a high quality sealant applied (something like CQuartz or Gtechniq EXO V2). Am I...

    Best chrome sealant

I was wondering what everyone uses for chrome sealants. I need something that'll work good on both metal covered and plastic covered.

    Light door panel scratch

Any tips/ideas for fixing a light scratch on a textured door panel? I have only ever dealt with smoother surfaces where you can use PlastX. I have tried cleaning the area using Einszet's premium cockpit cleaner. But scratch is still visible.

    Product for cleaning Rims?

I use Griots Garage "wheel cleaner" with a Daytona speed masters brush. Works fantastic especially since my rims have a combo of matte and chrome finishes.

    Frustrating "scuff"

Yeah I always have a tough time with "good enough". I'm ordering the GG 6" but it has a 2-3 week availability so will be awhile.

    Frustrating "scuff"

Thanks for both of your responses. I'm actually leaning more towards the GG after looking online at reviews. I just don't see myself using it that often (hopefully) to justify the extra $$ on the Flex. I've had really positive experiences with GG's products in the past. Having said that...

New member and a few product questions.

I can only comment on the second point but I use Einszett Cockpit Premium. No gloss or shine added just a nice clean factory look.

    Frustrating "scuff"

Seems like the price diff between the Porter or GG vs Flex is substantial. Not looking to do heavy paint correction.

    Frustrating "scuff"

There's only 1 spot where it lightly catches towards the bottom. Only using elbow grease right now. It has improved significantly where you can only see it in low indirect light. I am contemplating picking up the Porter Cable 7424XP though.

    Frustrating "scuff"

Looking for some advice on this one. Our vehicle was parked outside on a side street, upon leaving I noticed what looked like a dirty spot on the rear qrtr wheel well. Upon further inspection it looked like a small scuff, when I got home I inspected it further. Sure enough it's a scuff that is...
