Well it's going to take me a week to do my truck. I only have shade for about two hours in the afternoon when I get off work so I do a panel a day for compound and Polish. Which means a spit wash and clay before I start. It's pain with no shade but it's fun

Is there a brush you recommend? I see the griots brush but it's around 15 dollars, is there something I can puck up at an autoparts store. What am I looking for in terms of brush type. I'm going to order some lake country orange pads today and pad cleaner. Right now I only have an orange...

well guys I noticed some swirls still on the hood in the sun... sooo on impulse I picked this up... I used the peach colored pad it came with and meg ultimate polish then then griots one step the sealant it came with tomorrow i will use the meg carnuba ran out of day light

thanks guys. I'm going to do my 2005 dodge ram next. it will need a compound and has a lot of oxidation and swirls and small scratches. both of these sit outside all year round in new orleans. no garage unfortunately.

thanks, like i said I have never tried to detail anything before outside of maybe hand waxing a few times when i was a kid so this is to me at least better than hand lol

thanks. i used the meguiars power da drill attachment works well. my truck is going to be a challenge

first time trying to detail anything I used meguiars products started with hand wash with meg gold then meg clay bar and detailer the eg ultimate polish finished with meg carnuba wax will take that 2005 doge truck next
