As PaulMys mentioned above.... use a test spot to determine if you have soft or hard paint. If a mild combo can correct it, it's softer paint, harder paint will take a more aggressive approach to achieve correction.

It all depends on the paint on those two daily drivers. I have a Silverado truck with hard paint, and my wife has a Toyota Highlander with soft paint. A pad and polish combo that works well on her Toyota, won't do a thing to the hard clear coat on my truck. I use more orange pads than anything...

I've been using the B&S flat pads too with good luck, but I think I'm going to try out their Low-Pro pads. Thinner pads seem to be favored now. Should run cooler too.

I use ONRWW on just about every exterior surface of our vehicles and luckily, I have never experienced streaking on glass like you described. I'd give it a try again and see what happens. It might have just been an isolated occurrence due to something else entirely.
