I was preparing my stuff to buy to polish and ceramic coat my car. Just wanted peoples input on product selection if it's a good choice.
Will be getting a Griot G9 polisher and use the DIY detail polish and their gold pads for normal polish and the purple micro for deeper cut if needed. I...
I tend to follow the instructions from the manufacturer if I want to get a dilutable product. When I had Brake Buster for my wheel cleaner though, I did have it diluted but then with how cheap it was, I started using it full strength and noticed better performance obviously. Now I have Optimum...
Honestly the way ONR encapsulates stuff and pulls it quicker and you can visually see that on the paint is what is going to make me go back to it for my rinseless.
That said I agree with you, I do think this is mostly marketing and at the end of the day, they both work well and are safe to use...
Alright so after few emails with The Rag Company, basically we still have no idea. At first they claimed the CarPro Elixir as likely culprit but they didn't understand that this also happens to my 350gsm eagle edgeless that never touches Elixir, just use them with my rinseless wash. After...
What products and what purpose do you use with your towels that this happened?
Also, did this only happen to your Rag Company Eagle Edgeless or are they another model?
My process isn't that different from my summer rinseless washes really, except the fact I go to a coinwash first and get it rinsed before doing a rinseless wash back home in my unheated garage (weather needs to be hot enough so water doesn't freeze on it).
My LSP at the moment is just CarPro...
Re: Why my towels become "clumped" and are they still safe to use?
I think their point is that people don't want to go out and buy something just to use a test, like I rather use something I already have, like a spot on my car. I'm not a professional detailer I just work on my own...
Alright well intersting to see some of you have the same thing. I just sent an email to rag company will see what they say.
As for testing it on a Cd, does it need to be a blank one? I found some old game CDs and wiped my shirt pretty hard in circles on a section and could not see any marring...
Here's another example which is very noticeable. These purple ones are eagle edgeless 350gsm instead of 500gsm, and I use these for rinseless washing when my UBS can't be used and in this pic you can see from one side and the other similar problem.
Yeah it just happens to these eagle...
Oh ok, I don't clean them on hot I just do warm water and low heat drying. I have a old Kenmore 80 series so I don't think I have high speed spinning.
I thought this was something everyone had with their towels. Maybe something is up with my process.
I noticed some of my towels, the fibers become "clumped up" so to say and I was wondering if this is normal and if the towels is still good for use? Here is an example picture of one side of the towel VS the other. You can see how one side the fibers are more thin and they feel more soft VS the...
Ha I wish... on my BMW E92 the WeatherTechs really aren't that great. I got them last year and still a lot of salt in the same areas I had with the BMW rubber winter mats.
Ok thanks guys wasn't sure. Since you mentionned Essence looked it up and it looks to prosy a lot. Is it that worth it? Might get some for next time and before doing my car.
Guz I don't have issues with it just wondering for the future. It definitely beads up nice when I first tested, I just...
Sorry if this is a stupid one but I feel like googling isn't clearly giving me an answer.
I coated my wheels with DLUX and maintain it with Elixir at each wash. After 1 year or whenever it's not as strong, do I just quickly polish by hand and it's ready to re-apply? For example I can use my tub...
