So finally I have been able to remove all etching of bug I used the meg's uc with da using megs Xtra cut disc microfiber. Took a couple of passes. But achieved what I wanted. Now I have to wax hood again.for that I'm using bf black ice.
On the hood of my truck had a caterpillar melted on it yesterday so I washed off last night still something there.
This is what I've done so far this morning. Clay bar and wash hood again. Then it used Meguiars 205 still there. Then it went with megs ultimate compound. No difference. Not sure...

BLACKFIRE BlackICE Hybrid Montan Sealant Wax also meguiars black wax and chemical guys.
Anyone use any of these products or others I haven't mentioned ? Any recommendations? I'll be applying by hand if that makes a difference.
