    Any Station Wagon Fans?

Yes, big sport wagon fan here. My first new car was a '73 red Volvo 1800 ESO. Wish I still had it. After a few SUV's ...... back to another sport wagon and lovin' it. 2013 Mercedes E 350 Wagon. A member here, Audios S6, was kind enough to get me started in the right direction on detailing...

Thanks, I used G1 and followed the directions exactly. I'll try APC to get the wipers down to bare/clean rubber.

    windshield wiper blade treatment?

Hi, I treated my windshield with Gtechniq glass product and it has been great--water rolls right off at 30 mph. However, my windshield wipers chatter/skip when I use them, like there is excessive drag. Car only has 3000 miles so blades are like new. I then treated the rubber blades with Aero...

    stainless steel ??

Hi, got a new Bosch stainless steel dishwasher and intend to protect it. Question as I'm looking at two options: 1. straight to Collinite 845 or BFWDiamond or 2. prep first with Meg 205 or Pinn Paintwork Cleansing Lotion to better prep surface for wax or sealant Any thoughts?? Thanks

    Greetings from Tuf Shine Inc.

Thanks for sharing. No affiliation, just a satisfied Tuf Shine user. I bought it before AG started carrying it. My summary: it takes a little more upfront work but it's worth it. Just like the upfront work on paint---there are shortcut products but doing it the right way/ more work way is...

Tuf Shine on rubber floor mats??

Hi, I treated my wife's new Accord rubber all season floor mat (just the driver's) with Tuf Shine cleaner and coating. On tires it does not seem slippery. On rubber floor mats it is slippery, especially when wet. Any ideas on how to keep the Tuf Shine protection level, so it will clean up...

    Polising Inside Exhaust Tips

I can relate. I first cleaned the inside of the exhaust tips with APC, then polished with Meg 205, then used Collinite Metal Wax (#850). On my car, the inside of the exhaust tips are more visible than the outside of them.

Advice for machine buffing new exotic cars

Hi, I recently detailed two new cars: 1. a Honda Accord which was produced in US (of course) and was picked up 4 hours after delivery to the dealer. 2. a Mercedes E class produced in Europe (of course) and transported here. Again minimal time at dealer to contaminate paint. Both benefited from...

Win a Signed Bottle of Meguiars M101 & Art of Detailing Audio Book!

This because real Cobras are the hottest car ever. I'd like to see an "all wheel, all tire" makeover. Showcase the Tuf Shine cleaner and coating on the tires. Show some wheel coating options like Coll 845 and OptiCoat 2.0. Maybe do OC by pad on the wheel barrels and have some intricate wheels...

wax applicator, foam vs MF?? Collinite 915

Hi, I use my Flex 3401 for prep but prefer to hand apply wax/sealant. I decided to use Collinite 915 Marquis D Elegance which happens to be about 20 years old. It still looked good (not dried out at all) and still smelled great (anybody else want to eat it as it smells like vanilla pudding?)...
