i noticed one of my pads with a divet hole in the centre too. since then i would let the polisher run at speed 1 while i gently sweep the pad with Megs Pad brush

i noticed some of my 5.5" pads lost their firmness after soaking them in microfiber cleaning solution and rinsing in water. the firmness of my pads all felt the same as each other, no matter the color. hmmmm
