Thanks! and yes I think replacing the lights is a bit overboard. If the customer wasn't happy with the lights as they were before, then nothing has changed if they are unhappy with them now. I think a reasonable solution would be to give it another shot and if not, then a refund is in order. I...

Well the guy called me back wanting me to go see if there was anything i could do to fix the issue. Anybody have any ideas? I have a couple days to think. I'm thinking of removing the clear and hitting up with 105/205/plastic x. other than that i cant think of anything besides a refund. Btw...

I've had a pair like that. You couldn't even see the bulb in the headlight. I dont know how the guy was drivin around at night. I attached a picture. I agree. I was very happy with the job until i realized the haze was not coming off. Quite frustrating. It wasn't haze on the inside though. I...

I agree with you, although the issue here is that the lights did not have this haze before i started. there was some pitting and slight yellowing but they were still clear in the sense that they didn't have this haze.

Good job man, clouds always mess up headlights when taking pictures. Has anyone here done any 7 series BMW's? I did one yesterday and when i finished, it looked like it has a weird haze. It didn't look crystal clear as always. I did 400/800/1000/1500/2000 then cleared. The surface looked...

No, I thought you understood they weren't BMW's. The lights with the junk on the top is a Scion TC. It's in the same post as the pictures of the Porsche and The Mercedes.

Those guys come and go from my experience. Its not worth it in the long run to charge $20 per pair, especially if your mobile. It's also all about presentation. Create a nice looking ad, and you will get interest. Don't be like those other guys with pictures of the front end all wet and the...

So i have been pretty frustrated with compound getting all over my customer cars, and having to spend even more time cleaning up all the splatter. I decided to go without with great results. I went 800/1000/1500/2000(all wet) then cleared. Looked perfect. No scratches. Not sure if this made a...

Thanks! Well when i advertise i just put $40 any lights. Some take less time some take more, but it usually equals out. I charged the porsche guy $40, but he gave me a $30 tip. So sometimes is pays to do a good job, called me the next day to do his mercedes and gave me $20 tip. I also have a day...

A few recent jobs. The Scion light had some old "eye lid" sticker on it that looked like garbage, but i wasn't going to take it off for free. The lady said not to worry about it and work around it. Feed back please

Any of you guys have issues with static after compounding? Lately after compounding i feel static with my hands and after applying clear mix, the clear starts to somewhat separate like when you put soap on an oily plate, obviously not as drastic though.
