No worries, I gave up on 105 as well. I am a converted OC guy. I couldn't deal with the dusting and tried all of the stuff you tried. 205 works great though I may try the Optimum polish at some point. Cheers

I have had really good luck and results on my black mega cab dodge with optimum compound II with surbuf pads. Finished it out with m205 on a lake country flat grey pad. Optimum compound is alot easier to work with than 105 for a noob.

I have had good luck with Megs #21.

I have started using 5.5 surbuf pads with optimum compound and have been seeing great results. I find the surbuf pads easy to clean on the fly and I use less product.

What size pads are you using? I tossed my 6.5 inch pads in favor of 5.5 inch because the pc just didnt turn them reliably. I am a noob as well and my second correction yielded much better results because my pads are rotating. Are the pads turning or just shaking?
