Squarespace has been great for me so far. There has been a few finicky things and they recently updated the tools so I had to learn some thing buts for the most part I am happy.

I think content is important and as long as its organized cleanly and not distracting you can have as much as you want. Your home page has a lot going on and I think its content overload.

I agree. If you are doing part time or don't have the money or skill to create a site then I would agree. If you cant do it right, don't do it. However, part of being in business is looking professional. You get one shot at a first impression. Additionally, having your own website...

Don't worry about other people. People will say you did a great job and you wont hear from them again. People will say they will be back and you wont here from them again. I've followed up with people and gotten no response, then six months later they ask for work again. Anyway, I moved down...
