How long after detailing your car should you wait to put a car cover on? Should I give the wax time to cure?

Somehow I knew you were going to say mask out the stripes with tape. All fine and well for the stripes but on the hood is "HEMI" and on the rear fenders is the word "DAYTONA" with the paint showing through. Masking around then would be a royal pain.

Parttimer, Gotta love those mopars! Look great. How do you handle working around the flat black decals? I would think getting wax or sealer on them would be not a good thing.
