    It can be the weather but I find that alot of the time it is a dehydrated paint finish or working on new or near new waterborne paint finishes with sticky clearcoat

    Why use kero, it won't do a damn thing on clears, will strip all wax and sealant and may dry out the paint over time OH and not all detail sprays/ spray sealants contain silicone

    4 mins is about as far as I go with SIP but the best working time is 90 to 180 seconds

    It's not wise to use a wax on metallic cars with lots of flakes Use a pure sealant that lets the light through.
