Is it ok to layer with different brands of wax? For example, I have a layer of Collinite 845 on my car. Can I apply a coat of Sonax Super Liquid Wax on top of Collinite? I just want to use up remaining waxes that are taking up shelf space. Would that harm he paint? Or would that reduce...

That makes sense. I detailed my weekend car, and the water still beaded after clay and IPA wipe... I hope the new layer of wax sticks until spring, although I'll drive it a couple of times a month or so.

Will touchless not strip off wax, regardless of chemicals used in the tunnel? I always use touchless for this car.

Just checked the underbody washer. Nice tool. But still gonna take this thing to auto car wash. Handwashing one car is already too much during cold winter season. Don't make me wash two cars out in the freezing weather!

Thanks for your input. I would love to store the synthetic clay in my house but I am an OCD germaphobe... I can't just put it in my house unless perfectly cleaned and washed. So can I wash the synthetic clay with hand soap? Or regular bar of soap? Or can I just store it in the garage away...

OP here. One more question: Does synthetic clay also strip off sealant and wax? I know clays and ISP do not completely strip off wax and sealant, but I still would like to know whether synergetic Clay is effective at removing wax somehow

Email from Collinite: If the product is not severely discolored and is shaking back to a semi-liquid state or gel, it is probably fine. If it appears that the clear oils are completely separated from the wax, I would discard it.
