Okay thanks for the response! i tried to use the cyclo a bit today and was amazed how easy it was. But ill give it more of a try. I was having a hard time taking off the power gloss and super finish and it was oily still after use. Am i doing something wrong??
I just received the cyclo polisher kit with all the pads. I want to remove swirls in the paint. My question is just the pad choice.
Would i use the Menzerna Powergloss Compound with the orange light cutting pad?
Would i use the Menzerna Super Finish with the green polishing pad?
Then i would...
Its kind of hard to tell... but is this micro marring from polishing steps? If so, I'm having a hard time working that out. What would you suggest in order to have a micro marring free finish. I'm using micro fibers to remove the wax. Would it be from the cyan pad and the rotary?
Ill try to get pictures with a better camera. It looks a ton better than it was. There are still some swirls but are faint. Tomorrow I'm going to start on the roof and see if i can get better results. I'm still learning at this so for the first time it was ok! Thanks for the help Mike!
So if I start with power finish with the cyan pad then I should be able to use the super finish with the tangerine pad? Correct? Then the sealant wax with the crimson on the da? Would it be a good idea to use the suoer finish with a DA instead?
-Thanks
Thanks Mike!
Thanks for the reply Kronos. I will start with the tangerine pad and try that and see how It goes. I have halogen lights also to help me see if I'm doing it right. My main concern is with the rotary and speeds and trying to work down so I don't have holograms. Im still a little...
Hi everyone,
This is my first post here so I thought I would give this a shot. I have a 2003 black 325XI. It has a ton of swirls in the paint from the previous owner and some RIDS. I want to get most of the swirls out if I can but I'm still a little lost so I was trying to see if someone can...
