Boss Finishing Sealant IS actually an AIO and NOT a finishing sealant. Not sure why they called it that. I've used it on multiple occasions. IME the protection isn't durable and it isn't as easy to remove as HD Speed or BF 1-step. Little more oily. Not as bad as Menzerna 3n1. It does finish down...
Agreed. Perfecting cream and finishing sealant are fine but I reach for HD Polish+ before perfecting cream and HD Speed/Rupes Uno protect/blackfire 1-step before boss finishing sealant. Both products clearly have great abrasive technology but in my experience I don't think PC finishes much...
Do you like the griot's white foam pad? I hated using that thing especially on a panel with any concave/convex surfaces. Too thin and firm for me. The Boss Microfiber is easily my favorite microfiber pad though. Not the best at heavy correction but the soft interface and long fibers make it so...
Agreed. Fast Correcting Cream doesn't leave behind the oily residue like Menzerna or Jescar and has more cut and finishes better than D300. It smells fantastic and other than really soft paints it seems to work better than any other compound.
First of all, I've never heard anyone say they love the XMT polishes. The fact that you were able to get good results with it is pretty darn impressive. Like others have suggested I'd definitely give Fast Correcting cream a shot. It's an incredible compound when used with microfiber and performs...
Personally I prefer Optimum Car Wax. It's a thicker emulsion than Wolfgang and leaves behind UV protection. Plus it works great on plastics/rubber. Wolfgang is great as well though. Really can't go wrong with either.
Definitely agree with Mike. Those blue rupes foam pads cut well at first but significantly less once saturated and the foam gets warm.
If you have access to compressed air I'd personally get microfiber cutting pads. Not saying the blue rupes pads are bad pads but personally I feel like they...
OPC does work on carpets/fabric (I'll even use it to pre-treat spots of oil/grease/coffee stains) but the cleaner definitely needs to be rinsed. A dedicated carpet cleaner or even many all purpose cleaners like D101 which is targeted for interiors can be used on carpets and fabric without...
That’s a good question. I believe it was created as an All purpose cleaner but when used undiluted or even 3:1 dilution it has unbelievable degreasing abilities unlike other APC’s which tend to suds up more but won’t necessarily do a better job degreasing. OPC can break down bug guts, remove...
Your best option would be either OPC and a dedicated Interior Cleaner (I personally like Griot's Interior Cleaner and Ultima Interior Shampoo)
OR
Just an APC like D101 or Mckee's APC+
If you are trying to just get one product I'd go with just an APC
