    Flex PE14-2-150 speed dial problem

Thanks for the info. I purchased the machine before it was available in my country. Took the advice from someone here of using a step down transformer and since then, had absolutely no issues with it until just recently, about 2 months ago. All these years it worked fine but I wasn't aware that...

    Flex PE14-2-150 speed dial problem

My Flex rotary seems to be stuck in the fastest setting. I've tried dismantling and cleaning the guts. No luck. Someone suggested the carbon brushes needs replacement but before i commit to buying them, has anyone had the same problem? thanks.

Lake Country CCS Constant Pressure pads or regular CCS pads?

Never had any issues with constant pressure pads and I've been using them for years (5.5 and 6.5" pads).

    Typical LC Pad Usage Amount?(Duration)

Only problem I've had with LC pads was an orange 6" Kompressor which only lasted 3 wash cycles before delaminating. All the ccs pads are going strong after more than a dozen cycles.

    p21s paint cleaner

I've used P21S paint cleaner with great results as well, especially on soft single stage paints. Gives you a touch of correction so minor swirls and scratches are effectively removed.

IMO, the Flex 3401 is no longer DA king...

I read from another post of yours that you were getting tired from using the 3401. Your arms must be 10 times thicker than mine but I've found the 3401 still to be the best and most effective DA (forced or non-forced) machine in the market. More importantly, I don't feel like I've benched 200...

    What's your favorite sealant/carnauba combo?

If using Klasse SG, put the product in a small spray bottle as it has a consistency close to water. The squirt bottles they come in are not good enough and you can waste a lot of product if not careful. Other than that, KSG provides a very nice glossy finish.

    Spray Wax.

I can't comment on Aquawax as I just used it last week but OCW has lasted about 4 weeks on a daily that tolerates temps above 35 deg C which is over 95 deg F. Of course, everyone's scenario would be different, depending on several factors like temps, prep before lsp, daily or a garage queen, etc.

    Spray Wax.

I've used OCW for years and love the product. Then I tried Aquawax for the the first time last week and was also very impressed. For bang for bucks, Aquawax wins imo. Smells nicer as well.

    Variable Contact pads for 3401

I've used plenty of Kompressor pads on a 3401 and never had any issues. I'm using the 6" pads.

    Rejuvenating Powdercoated Brembo's

This is a very common problem with almost all Evo's, from V to IX. It's due to the clear coat not withstanding the high temps that calipers achieve. Put it simply, the incorrect clear was used. Once the clear fails, the red colour fades quickly, like normal paint on panels. Cars that are...

    New Car Wax

Why don't you try the Natty's first and see what you think. You have it already anyway :) If that doesn't please the pallet, I would recommend Souveran Paste. That stuff works brilliant on dark colours.
