Hey all I have my black f-150 - its not a show car, but I want to do yearly polishes for just general polish, and get rid of some swirls- I just got my DA polisher ( 6 inch ) , but would like to know what are the basic starting pads/compounds I'll need. Any guidance is much appreciated Thanks!

Hey Guys! I have a large F-150 supercrew. I am currently using the 2 bucket method to wash this beast. Should i be worried about the time it takes me to wash and dry the entire vehicle? Should I be doing it all at once, or dividing the car up (eg right side, left side etc. ) Any tips you...

ok.. will see if i can bust out the DA for the first time by the way, how come chemical guys citrus wash or anything like that wouldn't work?

good point. are you implying its hard to mess up with a da polisher?

so polish would be the only way to remove sealant?

crap ok. I actually got a DA polisher as a gift recently, but havent had the balls to try it yet on my truck

i'm unfamiliar with the "aio/cleaner-wax" (new to the detailing world as this is the first nice car i've owned) so basically i should not use this in conjunction with the chemical guys sealant. Should i not be using the black wax at all?

oh wow ok. huge rookie mistake lol. So how do i undo all of this? dawn wash, and do it over? Any chance this is scratches in the paint?

I could see that happening, i mean i went straight into it after wiping the sealant away... So the wax mixed with the sealant, then sealed?
