    New bike recommendations

I would look at opti coating it or using a sealant. That looks awesome on bikes. Wolfgang make a good all metal sealant as well. Keep up on your chrome now so you don't have to work on it for awhile. The chrome will be you biggest headache. Any good chrome polish and sealant works well. And...

Sealant bonding to dealer applied coating

Not auto butler. But there are a lot of swirls in it so it seemed pretty cheap so I was planning on claying polishing then sealing. Should work

Sealant bonding to dealer applied coating

Quick question. Have a friend of mine wondering if a sealant would bond to a dealer applied coating. He didn't know exactly what brand but wants to put a sealant on over the coating that was done about 3 years ago. I couldn't answer it with full confidence so I thought I'd ask. Any answers would...

Applied Collinite 845 too heavy... Help

Those are all sealants not waxes. I would hope they are easier to wipe off. Not all people like the looks of sealants

    Signature on motorcyle?

I would say a good paint pen will stay and I would imagine wax or sealant would be alright to apply on top of it

Help with a detailing news story!

You are better off just not doing it man. If you've been in business that long you should probably know better. Even as an educational piece I would be offended if I was a dealership owner. There are a lot of things other than just detailing that people get suckered into. That's life. Some just...

Help with a detailing news story!

You are better off just doing something to promote your business instead of attacking another. You'd be mad if someone did it to you so don't do it to them. If you are truly better, consistently produce a great product

Help with a detailing news story!

I agree with this. Yeah a true speciality detailer is much better than a car dealership but it is kind of shady to attack another business. That is very low class in my eyes. And I bet that the car dealer could come right back with something to put you right out of business. Watch what you say...

    Sealant bonding question

It may be a dumb question but I've been curious. How do you know if you are having a sealant bonding problem? Just that it wears down quick or do you see a problem when applying and buffing?

Taking calls and orders for pro detailers

If you are going in with a partner you both need to be on the same page right off the get go. You both need to be super knowledgable on your product and services you are going to offer. I would personally have a separate business phone for the company and whoever has the phone takes the calls. I...
